Approaching the sad girl on the playground, I looked at me. “Every year is better than the last.” And then I returned to the time machine.
This really hit my heart. There are so many children who need to hear just that message. Bravo on the twist that gave the girl a chance to comfort herself.
No matter how bleak it might seem at certain times, there’s always hope for a better tomorrow. Good tale!
This is really great! For some reason, I’m finding that a lot of 140 character fiction pieces handle time travel with great depth and creativity. Loved this.
What a great story. I think that I’m going to look onto right now as if I was in the future, past everything that is too important in the present, and approach my problem solving from that level. Thank you for that revelation @Sekelsky
A very touching story and a wonderful concept.
