No high heels or mother’s dresses or makeup for her. Dad’s records all the way. She was 4. “A Hard Day’s Night” roused her old soul.
Awesome! Love the image of an old soul in a four-year-old’s body.
Fantastic. I love the juxaposition of the stereotypical female child’s dainty interests with this child’s “old soul” enthusiasm for records and rock and roll. The child the author describes is clearly a leader with an appreciation for history and a taste for good music. Rock on child, and rock on author.
Awesome story 😉
Great story. This is a non-stereotypical, endearing character who I loved instantly. Well done.
Wonderful! As the mother of an old soul who loves classic rock (and vinyl), I can surely relate!
